Paul David Carr, 49, of Valdese went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 10, 2018. He died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home.

He was born on July 15, 1968 in Lexington, NC to Joyce Bradley and the late James David Carr.

He was an avid dog lover, loved working on cars and singing Karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly and her husband Johnny Norris of Oak Ridge, TN and his step-father, James Bradley of Oliver Springs, TN.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Bradley; his brother, Greg Carr; his niece and nephew, Stacey Ferguson and Kevin Norris; and special close friends, Joseph Brown, Lora Brown and Michael Brown.

There will be an informal receiving of friends Saturday March 24, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.

A receiving of friends, followed by a funeral service will be held in Tennessee at Oak Ridge Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday March 31, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 P.M., with the burial to follow.
