"Albert Klaus Anderson was born in Norway, January 25, 1876; removing to this country with his parents when five years of age. They located at Lake City, Minn., where he resided about five years, again removing to Senneca, S.D., where he resided for fifteen years. He came to the state of Washington in 1901.
While in South Dakota he attended Wessington Springs Seminary and later attended and graduated from the Seattle Seminary, now known as the Seattle Pacific College. He taught school for several years, but feeling the call to the gospel ministry, he became active in the gospel work when a young man and for several years served as a pastor in the Washington conference of the Free Methodist church.
He was married October 26, 1904, to Muriel Estelle Dinsmore in Buckley. To this union were born five children: Doris, Robert, May. Viva, and Orville, all living at home.
He leaves to mourn besides a wife and children, three brothers: Neil M. and John Anderson of South Dakota, and August M. Anderson, missionary to Africa; three sisters: Mrs. Jennie A. Conners and Mrs. Agnes Yost, of Edmonds, Wash. and Mrs. Caroline Yost of Arlington, Wash. His parents and one sister preceded him in death."
