Zackie was born to Robert Franklin Hall and Rose Della Hodges. He was adopted by his stepfather, Rose's second husband, McGee.

Zackie Covington McGee, 83, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.

A graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Waco Memorial Park in Waco, Texas. There will be a visitation with the family at the cemetery starting at 12:30 pm.

Mr. McGee, a 1953 Waco Technical High School Graduate, spent four years in the Air Force. He was an accountant all his working life, Conlee Seed for 35 years, and Camp Fire Boys and Girls for 12 years.

Zack was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 56 years, Bonnie; and son, David of Waco.

Mr. McGee loved being outdoors, on the lake, and fishing. He was crazy about his dogs, which have been many through the years.
