Janet Beatrice Perry, 77, of Creston, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 at Medina Hospital after a brief illness.

Janet was born March 31, 1940 in Doylestown to the late Roy Allen and Beatrice Clara (Petit) King and graduated from Wadsworth High School. She married Walter E. Perry on Nov. 2, 1957 and Walt preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2017. She retired from Peoples Federal Bank in Wooster and was a faithful and active member of Our Lady Help of Christian Catholic Church in Seville. Jan had been active in R.E.A.C.T. of the years, was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed going to flea markets and trips to Amish County with her sisters.

Surviving are her children, Walter (Rozanne) Perry of Waipahu, HI, Roy Perry of Tacoma, WA, Jonathan Perry of Creston, Clara (David) Wolgamott of Burbank, Jean Pittman of Wooster, William Perry of Creston and Kenny (Melanie) Perry of Creston; 14 grandchildren, Jessie, Loke, Monika, Koshiro, Kenshiro, Linda, Jonny, Michelle, Matthew, Corey, Taylor, Mandy, Tony and Jillian; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Graham of Rittman and Susan (Joe) Lamielle of Wadsworth and nieces and nephews including Francis Perry of Creston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her step-father, Joseph Meade.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 17th at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christian Parish, 60 High St., Seville with Father Edward Suszynski officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
