Mr. Mark W. Heisler, 87, of Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus, Coaldale.

He was the husband of Brenda Miller Heisler.

He was a son of the late Arthur and Sallie Reichwine Heisler.

He was a graduate of Tamaqua High School, a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lewistown Valley, and was a lifelong dairy farmer. He loved gardening, deer hunting and trout fishing.

He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Leroy, and a sister, Margret Leiby.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Brenda, are his son, Andrew Heisler, and his sister, Irene Troxell, both of the Lewistown Valley; nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Calvary United Methodist Church, Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua, with the Rev. Phil Sabas officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service in the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Lamar Christ Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
