Theodore F. Fenimore Jr. 
August 28, 1935-March 13, 2018 

Mishawaka-Theodore F. Fenimore Jr, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.  Theodore was born on August 28, 1935 in South Bend to Theodore and Blanch (Fiwek) Fenimore Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents.

On July 7, 1956 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka he married the former Catherine LaDow; she preceded him in death on May 4, 1992.  On July 9, 1993 in St. Monica’s he married, Carole Briggs. She survives along with his children, Jeff (Cindi) Fenimore of South Bend, Paul Fenimore of Mishawaka, Rex (Linda) Fenimore of Fishers, IN, Jim Fenimore of Mishawaka and Lori (David) Freshour of Edwardsburg, MI; step children, Vicki (Jim) Stabnik and Greg Briggs; grandchildren, Paige Freshour, Kali Fenimore, Crystal Frazier, Annie Goodwin, Zac Freshour, Rhetlen Fenimore, Matthew Fenimore, Jon Fenimore, Nichole Bishop, Monica Shiver, Kristi Elick, Brianne Collier, Kyle Stethem, and Brad Freshour; several great grandchildren; sister, Rose Marie (Ron) Beemer of Broken Arrow, OK and brothers, Robert Fenimore of South Bend and Richard (Nancy) Fenimore of Mishawaka. 

Theodore worked for Nibco in Elkhart as a Machine Operator for 36 years before he retired in 1997. He was a member of Eagles #283, St. Monica Church and American Bowling Congress. 

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 19 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, in St. Monica Church. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. 

The family would like to give a heartfelt Thank you to the Staff, nurses and doctors at the Center for Hospice for all of the care and kindness shown to Theodore and his family.
In lieu of flowers it was Theodore’s request that Memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Dr., Mishawaka, IN 46545 or Hospice Foundation
