Florence G. Shutsy Reynolds was one of a group of pioneers, a female pilot in World War II in the Women Airforce Service Pilots. WASP flew all the trainers, the hot fighters and the big bombers in World War II, to free up male pilots for combat roles. Like her sisters in the WASP, "Shutsy" flew her share of the great fighters and bombers in the U. S. Army Air Corps air fleet.
