Vera “Joyce” Anderson Harrison, 77, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 14, 2018 at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held 3:00 pm EDT Saturday at Vance Brooks Funeral Home (Vance Memorial Chapel) in Phenix City. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. .

Joyce was born October 28, 1940 in Columbus, GA to the late Jeppie Anderson and Nancy Frances Senn Anderson.

She loved children and worked as a teacher’s aide with Ladonia Elementary School in Phenix City. She enjoyed playing bingo, but her greatest passion was living her life through all of her family. She was a Christian by faith.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Lamar Stephens, Jr., one sister, Juliette Clark, a brother, Kenneth Anderson.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Hart, and Amanda Morris, all of Phenix City, AL, one sister, JoAnne Smith of Columbus, GA, extended generations.
