Mr. Harold Deleon Underwwood, Sr., 74, of 127 S.H. Peterson Lane, Delway Community, died Tuesday, March 13th at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.
Mr. Underwood, born in Sampson County, was the son of the late James Underwood and Vada Bryant Underwood. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Underwood; a daughter, Lakesha Underwood of Roseboro; a son,, Harold Deleon Underwood, Jr. of Dudley, stepson, Travis Colwell of Jacksonville; three stepdaughters, Denise Bryant of Teachey; Tonya Colwell of Clinton; Vernice McLean of Rose Hill; two sisters, Helen Vann of Garland; and Hazel Treadwell of Clinton; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
