Mr. Graves, born in Alamance County, was the son of Annie Hester Graves and the late James O'Daniel Graves, Sr. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana graves and a grandson, Adrian J. Graves.
He was a high school graduate and he furthered his education at Alamance Community College where he obtained as Associates degree. He was also a firefighter with the City of Burlington for over 16 years.
He is survived by his mothe, Annie Hester Graves of the home; a son, Johnathan H. Graves of Burlington; two brothers, James O. Graves, Jr. of the home, and John Demas Graves of Burlington; a sister, Donna Kay Graves of the home; grandson, Jeremiah I. Graves of Burlington.
