Conway Kennedy Dickinson, 88 of Atmore, AL. passed away March 13, 2018 in Pensacola, FL. She was born on August 28, 1929 to the late Dr. Renwick Carlisle Kennedy and Mary Moore Kennedy in Charlotte, N.C. but was raised in Camden, AL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Edward "Dickie" Dickinson, Jr. and infant son.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Atmore, member of United Methodist Women and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Dickinson Furniture, was a retired schoolteacher and a graduate of Erskine College.

She is survived by her daughter Lee (Mickey) Cannon of Atmore, AL, two sons Richard Kennedy Dickinson of Gulf Shores, AL. and Lawrence Edward "Ed" (Mary) Dickinson, III of Weldon Spring, MO and her sister Margaret Ausley of Nokesville, VA. Mrs. Dickinson is also survived by five grandchildren Melissa Terrell, Michael Cannon, Anne Kennedy Galvin, Lawrence "Ted" Dickinson, IV, Jennifer Catherine Dickinson and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 3 PM from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore with Rev. Brennan Peacock officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2 PM until service time at 3 PM from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Atmore "More Than Bricks" Fund.
