Bill was the son of Bill and Ruby (Smith) Anderson. He was born in Springfield, MO.
His family moved to Iowa where he grew up.
After high school Bill worked as a truck driver.
Bill served in the United States Navy, after the Navy he became deeply involved with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club No. 109.
He also loved his family dearly, his son B. Anderson, his daughter Angelynn Anderson, his grand daughter Brylee Anderson, and Dee Anderson.
