Maxine enjoyed traveling, gardening and animals. She was a huge race fan and attended roughly 50 Indianapolis 500 races with her husband Bob. They collected many types of minerals and fossils. Maxine was devoted to her family, loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by all.
Maxine is survived by her two sons, Stuart A. (Vicki) Brooks and Douglas S. (Becky) Brooks; three grandchildren, Danny (Heather) and Nicole Brooks, and Brittany Brooks; one great granddaughter, Moriah Brooks; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob; a sister, Dorothy Anderson; two brothers, James and Glen Campbell; and many beloved pets.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Walnut Creek NH and the Critical Care Hospice Nurses for their loving care of Maxine.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local Hospice organization.
