Des Moines - Dale Wayne Henderson passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017. Dale was born in Decatur, IL on June 2, 1957 to Pastor Robert and Margaret Henderson. He was a graduate of Des Moines North High School and was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Cathy Hankins, on 10/23/76. Dale and Cathy resided in Aurora, CO, before returning to Des Moines in the 1990's. He was a member of the Humble Abode Church. He was employed by Factory Motor Parts and by Enterprise. Survivors include Sister in Law's, Tracey (Dan) Lantz, Des Moines, Mary Sharp and fiancé Bruce Mellody, Urbandale, Brother in Law, James (Debbie) Hankins, Ankeny, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul Robert, and wife, Cathy. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, IA.
