Muncie – Rebecca Lee “Becky” Hudson, 66, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, March 13, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Muncie on September 24, 1951, the daughter of Charles “Jocko” and Marcella (Frazier) Bartlett, graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1969 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Ball State University.
Mrs. Hudson was a registered nurse at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital for thirty three years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Dunkirk Elks and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needle work, gardening, watching her birds, NASCAR, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of forty-five years, Roy; her daughter, Jennifer Hudson Roberts (husband, Keith), Muncie; three grandchildren, Ethan Hudson, Avery Hudson Roberts, and Amelia Hudson Roberts; two brothers, Dan Bartlett (wife, Linda), Annandale, VA and Mike Bartlett (wife, Nancy), Prospect, KY; two sisters, Robin Bartlett (partner, Marci), Thornville, OH and Bernadette Bartlett, Virginia Beach, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bill Bartlett.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
