Lela Eloise Watts, 89, passed away at Sunshine Health Care. She was born in Pontotoc County on September 24, 1928 to Robert B. Dykes and Daisy Long Dykes. She was a graduate of Pontotoc High School. She married Harold A. Watts on December 21, 1946. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and did sewing for the public.
Services will be Sunday, October 22 at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. in Pontotoc. Rev Greg Herndon will be officiating . Burial will follow will follow in the Immanuel Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son Charles Watts (Terri Kay); her daughters, Linda Willard (Shirley) and Carolyn Cossey (Ralph) all of Pontotoc; four grandchildren; Lori Campbell (Mike), Tammy Cobb (Kevin), and Cory Watts, all of Pontotoc and Karen White (Kris) of Huntsville, AL; great-grandchildren; Brandon Chapman, Ali Claire Cobb, Kirkland and Tucker Campbell and Ivy Cate and Riley White; one great-great grandchild, Macy Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson Tracy Duncan and grandson Shane Watts; one brother Burdell (Jack) Dykes and his wife Marie, and one sister, Elaine Griffin and her son, Max.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 21 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, one hour prior to service time at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Cory Watts, Mike Campbell, Kris White, Kirkland Campbell, Tucker Campbell, Brandon Chapman and Kevin Cobb.
