MOUNT VERNON - Jeffrey Lee Becker, age 60, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Abilene, TX.
He was born on February 4, 1958, in Mount Vernon, OH, to Gerald Becker and Margaret "Peggy" Yough.
Jeff attended Permian High School in Odessa, TX, for three years, before returning to Springfield, OH, to graduate high school in 1976.
Jeff married Nancy (Diehl) Becker on February 24, 1994.
They resided in Texas for ten years, before moving his family to Jeff's hometown of Mount Vernon, OH.
Jeff had a 30 years career in industrial services for the oil and gas industry.
Jeff was very proud to be the third generation Cooper Cameron employee, often working off the design drawings signed by his grandfather.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting and using his metal detector.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Margaret "Peggy" (Cloyd) Yough of Mount Vernon, OH; his wife, Nancy Becker of Abilene, TX; his daughters, Nicole (Taylor) Stein of Edmond, OK, Alyssa (Brandon) Sehlhorst of Toledo, OH and Kylie Taylor of Abilene, TX; five grandchiildren, Lucas and Bailey Taylor, Reid, Brooklyn and Chandler Stein; sister, Laurie (Matt) Kirkpatrick of Mount Vernon, OH; brothers, Dr. Michael (Andrea) Yough of Stillwater, OK, and Brian Yough of Mount Vernonn, OH; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Becker and his grandparents, Owen and Ruth Barncord and Fred and Lulu Becker.
Burial in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mount Vernon, OH.
