Rogers-Thursday afternoon, march 19 1914, at his home, Memphis, Tenn., William F. Rogers, aged 58 years, formerly of this city, father of Flournoy Rogers and Mrs. Jerome Parker. The remains will arrive this Friday morning at 7 o'clock, and will be taken to the chapel of Dorris, Karsch & Co., where prayers will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock. Interment at Mt. Olivet.
Mr. Rogers was 58 years of age. He came of a prominent Tennessee family, originally of Giles county. His father for many years was principal of the old Main street school in East Nashville. The deceased was a brother of Admiral Charles Rogers of the United States Navy, and Ed Rogers of Memphis. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Parker and William Flournoy Rogers, Jr. For many years during his residence in Nashville Mr. Rogers was connected with the N.C. & St. L railway
