May 2, 1944 - March 13, 2018 Roy Eugene Duncan, 73, of Berea died at his residence Tuesday, March 13, 2018 after struggling with complications from a major stroke seven years ago. He was a Middlesboro native (Bell County) born May 2, 1944, son of the late McKinley and Millie Rains Duncan and had been a resident of Berea for the past eight years. Roy had been a coal miner and later a roofer before retirement. He liked game roosters, fishing, playing the guitar, Ginseng hunting, and was a great car mechanic. Roy was known by his family and friends as a very shy quiet person.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia Isaacs Duncan; 2 children, Shane Eugene Duncan, Debbie Ann Duncan; 2 siblings, Norman Duncan (Mae), Phyllis Bussell; 4 grandchildren, Matykka, Johnathon, Isiah, Kiara; 3 great grandchildren, Grayson, Kaden, Ella. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Sally Fannin.
Service 11:00 am, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Reppert Funeral Home and Cremation Service entrusted with arrangements.
