Carl E. Cooper, Jr.

Louisville - Carl "Sonny" E. Cooper, Jr., was born in Louisville on April 7, 1939 to Carl, Sr. and Elsie (Horton) Cooper. He passed away on March 5, 2018 in Apple Valley, California. He graduated from Valley High School in 1957. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Audrey Cooper, sons Carl (Susan) Cooper, III, Craig Cooper, Chad Cooper. Sisters Betty Fowler of Naples, Florida, Debora Krekel, and Kathy (Sherman) Shields, both of Louisville, brothers Bob Cooper, of Louisville and Bill (Kathy) Cooper, of Clarkson, Ky., six grandchildren, Uncle Barney Horton. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers-in-law Jerry Fowler and Tim Krekel and nephew Marc Fowler. Funeral services will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Apple Valley, California on March 23. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
