Michael B. Meador, 59, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was a member of Jackson Chapel Methodist Church and had been a truck driver for 33 years. He loved hunting and fishing. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Hernando Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hernando Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Donna Meador of Hernando; daughters, Wendy Hale (Brian) of Olive Branch and Maggie Meador (Rob Pugh) of Hernando; sons, Michael B. Meador, Jr. and Benjamin Meador; mother, Mary Dabney (Elmer) of Hernando; sister, Marie Armistead (Gene) of Alabama; grandchildren, Elijah, Bradley, and Ruby. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Meador; stepmother, Helen Meador; brother, Wayne Meador; uncle, Sonny Griffin, and nephew, Chris Meador. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jackson Chapel Methodist Church.
