BERTHA A. (MANDEVILLE) FLETCHER, 99, of Connecticut and formerly of New Bedford, joined the Lord Thursday, May 16, 2013.
She was born in 1914 to Noi and Rosilda Mandeville of New Bedford. She was pre-deceased by her husband Wilfred and her twelve siblings.

She leaves sons Robert and his wife Nancy and Donald and his wife Naomi. She also leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, in addition to a beloved sister-in-law, Irene Mandeville.

She lived most of her life in New Bedford, attending St. Anthony School and Church. She later moved to Connecticut to be cared for by her son Robert and his wife Nancy. She taught catechism at St. Anthony where she earned a Marian Medal.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10 AM from the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her funeral mass at 11 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
