DeAnna Williams, age 72, of Texarkana, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 12, 2018. She was born August 9, 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana.

She was a homemaker and formerly employed with Cooper Tire and Rubber Co. and the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. DeAnna enjoyed gardening, and making her home a place of security and fun for her family and friends to come relax, feel happy and loved. She enjoyed the fellowship of her Sunday School Class and cooking for her family and friends. Although she battled cancer for many years her devotion to her children and husband never failed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty three years, Ennis Hoyt Williams.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Diana Williams of Montgomery, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law: Cathy and Jonah Melancon of Lafayette, Louisiana; two sisters and brothers-in-law: JoNita and Charlie Adkisson of Texarkana, Texas; Jan and Jack Sims of Texarkana, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Ashley Luyando, Alex Luyando, David Heffler and his wife Kim, Delaney Williams and Cadie Williams and one great granddaughter, Savannah Heffler and a number of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Beck officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
