Margie Calvert Shelton, 91, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Westmoreland Manufacturing, Portland Manufacturing and Potter Brumfield and member of Robert's Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Shelton "Shelt" Calvert and Maude Bertha Mayhew Calvert and wife of the late Murle C. Shelton.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law: Freddie Troutt; 3 brothers: Vetrice Calvert, Frank Calvert and Elbridge Calvert; 4 sisters: Pauline Kepley, Mary Jane Garrison, Irene Raines and Dorothy Brown.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Bary Ray officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
