Christine Coleman N. Charleston - Christine O. Coleman, 83, of North Charleston, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018. She was born in Timmonsville, SC to the late Eugene and Juanita Anderson. She married, Howard "Sonny" Coleman in 1956. She was a dedicated and loving, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed tremendously. Christine spent many years working as an X-Ray Technician, homemaker, with her husband at Coleman's Body Shop on Rivers Avenue, and retired as a Wedding Consultant at Belk. Christine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard "Sonny" Coleman, a daughter, Tina Young, of Goose Creek, and a son, Derek Coleman, of North Charleston, and a brother, James Wylie (Shirley) Anderson, of Timmonsville, SC, and her grandchildren, Lindsay Young and Coleman (Ashley) Young. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lily "Doodle" Jordan and Helen Truett. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 3:30 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
