Mr. Charles Edward Milton age 73 of Cordova, formerly of Haywood County, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Signature Health Care in Memphis.

He was born September 3, 1944 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Verlin Milton and Louise Pike Milton.

Mr. Milton retired from UPS and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers, Virginia Haycraft, June Burse, Robert Milton, Ronald Milton and A.D. Milton.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Milton of Cordova; two sons, Charles Edward (Chuck) Milton, Jr. of Brownsville and Joshua Collin Milton of Memphis; two sisters, Glenda Slayton of Brownsville and Josephine Haycraft of Dyersburg. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Kinsley and Stephen.

Serving as pallbearers are Josh Milton, Jeff Bailey, Tim Slayton, David Connell, Matt Stachowski and Lonnie Jackson.

Funeral services for Mr. Milton will be conducted Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
