George Alfred Robbins, 81, of Port Arthur, Texas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. George was born on February 20, 1936 to James Allen and Wyland May Robbins in Red Lick, Mississippi. George was a private man and kept to himself, but he did have a very dry sense of humor. George served his country honorable during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corps; George loved his country and was a proud patriot.

George is preceded in death by his parents, James and Wyland Robbins; sisters, Louie Pierce, Louise Jessen, Wyland Cain, and Jennie Rife; brothers, James Robbins, and Tommy Robbins.

George is survived by two daughters, Dana Lyn Winfrey, of Groves, Texas, and Pam Authement, of Sour Lake, Texas; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
