Mr. Benjamin "Ben" Frederick Carpenter, 82, died Friday, March 9th.
Mr. Carpenter, born in Washtenaw County, MI; was the son of the late Walter Schroeder and Evelyn Carpenter Baxter Schroeder.
He served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was active in many organizations, such as the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Evening Optimist Club, and the National Rural Letter Carrier Association.
