Gabriel H. Gutierrez was born on March 14th, 1943 in Jalisco, Mexico. He passed away Monday, March 5th, 2018 in Porterville, Ca. He was 74. Gabriel married Maria Elena Rodriguez on Dec. 29th, 1963. They were married for 54 years and had 8 children. Gabriel enjoyed working, music, and spending time with family. Gabriel is survived by his mother, Maria Cruz; wife, Maria Elena; daughter Maria Elena; sons, Florentino, Rafael, Jose, Gabriel, Michael, and David; 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Florentino; brothers, Eleuterio and Jose; son Sergio; and granddaughter Lupita. Viewing will be Sunday, March 18th from 2pm-6:30pm with Rosary to follow 6:30pm-7:30pm at Porterville Funeral Home, 765 W. Henderson in Porterville. Catholic Mass will be held at 11am Monday, March 19th at St. Anne’s Church, 378 N. F Street. Burial to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at Porterville Funeral Home.
