Simon Hufford, 86, died at 7:30 o'clock Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Wagoner of Camden, after a lingering illness.

He was born in Ohio, son of Adam and Julian (Stoneburner) Hufford. His wife preceded him in death several yeras ago. Born to them were the following children who remain as survivors: George Hufford, Richmond: Mrs. Jessie Wagoner; Albert Hufford, Fresno, Calif.; David Hufford, Paynesville, Minn.; Mrs. Jessie Flory, Delphi; William Hufford, Minot, N.D.; Elmer Hufford of Frankfort, and three sisters, Mrs. Christina Brubaker, Laketon, and Mrs. Mary Root, and Mrs. Lizzie Fisher, both of Camden.

His wife was Amanda BLOCHER, born May 1866, in Indiana; died 1933, in North Dakota. Amanda and Simon married on March 14, 1884. Amanda was the daughter of Isaac BLOCHER and Malinda MILLER.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Camden German Baptist church, with the Revs. Dan Yoder, John Oyler, and Lloyd Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Musselman cemetery.
