He worked for Jersey Central Power and Light. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and was a master gardener. He enjoyed listening to music especially Roy Orbison, liked cars, and was an avid lifelong Red Sox fan. He and his wife Jane were committed members of the group Contact for many years.
He is survived by his close friends: Pat Kauffman, Mary Boston, Virginia Whelpley, Darlene Reimers, and Evelyn Wrobleski; and his family members: Elaine (Willie) King, Andrea (Ray) Genest, Michael Dabkowski, Chet (Kerry) Dabkowski, Jr., Margaret Walkama, Sandra (Chip) Bachelder, Jane Sodderman, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death (2014) by his wife, Jane; and brother-in-law Dennis Dabkowski.
