She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Glenn Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whom had a deep appreciation for her family.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Clinas Kilgore, Juantita Ervin and brother Taft Johnson.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bill Joe Tipton; daughters, Sue and Harry Lipton, Rachal and Charles Hoovan, Jenny and Mel Osborne; one son Rocky and Carol McReynolds; 10 grand children; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grand child; three sisters; Clara Hileman, Louise Fields, Carol Jennings and several nieces and nephews, cousins and other family who survives.
Services were held in the chapel of Scott County funeral Home; burial at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
