SHREWSBURY - Jeffrey Patrick Doyle, 19, of Shrewsbury died unexpectedly, Monday, July 24, 2010. He is survived by his parents; Donald and Connie (Carnese) Doyle, and his sister Laura Doyle all of Shrewsbury, his paternal grandmother Irene Doyle of Chicopee, and his maternal grandmother Charmaine Carnese, of Portland, OR. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Jack Doyle of West Springfield, Bill and Catherine Doyle and their children Sarah and Brendan of Worcester, Joe and Patty Doyle and their children Matthew, Bryan, and Jenny of Boise, Idaho, Mary Doyle of Chicopee, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins in Oregon and California. Jeffrey was predeceased by his grandfathers, Patrick Carnese and John Doyle. Jeffrey was a creative, talented individual who was interested in how things worked. He was caring and affectionate, and most of all he loved his family. Jeffrey was born in Worcester, and lived in Shrewsbury his entire life. He attended St. Mary's School and was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Parish, where he was an active member. He was a 2009 graduate of Shrewsbury High School. Jeffrey was an Eagle Scout whose Eagle project involved designing and building a deck off the concession stand at Municipal Field in Shrewsbury. He would have begun his sophomore year at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he was studying Civil Engineering and was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was a member of the canoe building competition at UMass Lowell, and was pledging a fraternity. Jeffrey was a lacrosse player in high school, and played Pop Warner football, Little League baseball and Shrewsbury Youth Soccer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street. His funeral will be held Friday from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday July 30, 2010 in St. Mary's Church, 640 Main St. (Please go directly to church) Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
