Tommy F. Hudson,age 75 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Tommy was born July 7, 1942 in Konawa, Oklahoma, to Joseph Oscar Hudson and Helen Lucille (Bell) Hudson.

He graduated from Vamoosa High School and worked as an oilfield pumper and truck driver. He married Brenda Jean Lewis-Hailey August 29, 1960 in Sasakwa. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sasakwa. Tommy loved fixing and building things and cutting and bailing hay. He loved to play the guitar and to sing. He always enjoyed camping out by the pond, and he loved helping people.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hudson of the home; three sons, Kerry Wayne Hudson of Sasakwa, Jeffery S. Hudson and wife, Dona of Sasakwa, and Michael Gene Hudson and wife, Karen of Sulphur, Oklahoma; one brother, Charlie Hudson and wife, Leona of Seminole, Oklahoma; one sister, June Morgan and husband, Carl Dean of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Racheal Bible, Logan Hudson, and Brianne Hudson; six great grandchildren, Presley Bible, Ivy Grace Bible, Bryor Bible, Adilee Hudson, Anzlee Hudson, and Alisyn Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, J. O. and Helen Hudson; one sister, Vera Doran; three brothers, Alfred Hudson, Cleo Hudson, and Afton Hudson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Bro. Gary Choate will officiate.
