Harry Clifford Hudson, 75, a retired News-Journal Co. compositor, died today at his home, 8 North Ave., Boxwood, after a long illness.
Mr. Hudson was a native of Newark, N.J. but had lived in Wilmington most of his life. A World War I Navy veteran, he served on destroyers.
He was a past commander of Union Barracks No. 3465, an organization comprised of veterans who served more than 50 years.
Mr. Hudson was a member for 50 years of the International Typographical Union Local No. 123. He retired in 1958 after nearly 35 years of News-Journal service.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marian D. Hudson.
Services and interment will be private. There will be no viewing and it is suggested that flowers be omitted.
