Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker and a member of Highland Church of Christ. She was Past Matron and 50 year member of the Rio Vista Order of Eastern Star. She loved her family, gardening, sewing, and reading.
Rubye Ince Peterson is survived by sons Giles Peterson of Wilmer, Alabama and Doug Peterson of Goat Neck; daughter Joy Horton of Goat Neck; granddaughters Alicia Johnson and husband Steve of Goat Neck, Cynthia Chapman of Cleburne, Theresa Adair of Fort Worth; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dee Peterson and twins Dewitt and Margaret Peterson and sons Talmadge and Joe Peterson
