Kathy graduated from Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, in 1974. Kathy attended The Georgia Institute of Technology. While at Georgia Tech, Kathy was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega social sorority. She graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1978 in Industrial Management from the College of Business.
Kathy spent her entire career—-all 39 years--at Georgia Tech in Development . After working for a brief time in Development Research, Kathy served as Director of Reunion Giving until 1993. She then was named Director of Regional Development, working with alumni and friends across the southeast. She assisted in the development and execution of three Institute-wide capital campaigns, helping to raise millions of dollars for her alma mater. Her extensive knowledge of Georgia Tech made her a trusted contact with prospects and donors who were interested in giving back to the Institute. Her love and abiding commitment to Georgia Tech were felt by all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her sister Susan Fuller Smith and husband Randall of Marietta, Georgia, her brother Alan Carl Fuller (IMGT ’83) and wife Marla and her beloved nieces Caroline Sellers Fuller, Margaret Anne Fuller, and beloved nephew Richard Benjamin Fuller of Birmingham, Alabama, her niece Kristen Fuller Rossi and husband Mark and her beloved great nephews William Fuller Rossi and Alan Christopher Rossi of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and brother Richard Fuller III.
