Dan was the Owner of Haas Packaging & Design for the past 15 years. He was the co-founder of Moon Container and B & H Container. He worked for Keystone Box from 1961 to 1967 where he was salesman of the year in 1964. After graduating from Bangor High School in 1953, he served in the Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. He later worked for the FBI in Washington, DC from 1958 to 1960. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting with his friends at Camp Fufu as well as hunting big game throughout North America. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was a member of the Northampton Country Club, Pomfret Club, and Martins Creek Lions Club.
Survivors: Wife; sons and daughter, Eric, Bethlehem, PA, Daniel, Chicago, IL, Jonathan and wife April, Easton, Stephanie and husband Robert Farley, Bangor, Michael and wife Denise, Washington, NJ; brothers, Floyd, Easton, Kenneth, Merced, CA, Edward, Nazareth; sisters, Ruth Gardner and Janet Groff, both of Easton; grandchildren, Bridgette, Alexander, Katherine, Angelica, Jonathon, Lauren, Cortney, Zachary, and Bret. He was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Lee Haas.
