Mrs. Wood was a charter member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She was past president of the Alter Guild and active in many other areas at the church. Mrs. Wood was a homemaker that loved dancing, gardening, skating, flowers, and taking care of her family and children. She cooked for every family occasion and always thought of others first, before herself. Mrs. Wood was very involved in her children’s lives growing up. She participated in all their activities, including being a Cub Scout Den Mother and A Girl Scout Leader. Mrs. Wood formed the Girl Scout Troup at Riverside UMC and was a Worthy Matron member of the Eastern Star.
