*not sure about cemetery but had to pick one.

Louis P. Hadden was an Illinois farmer who owned quite a bit of land. Louis' oldest daughter, Lula Hadden Eastman (my grandmother), said one of her earliest memories was of her dad's big white draft horse. This horse liked to lean against the side of the barn when not in the field. One day, the horse hadn't moved in awhile. Louis went to check on him. He found the horse had died, standing up, leaning against its favorite barn. My grandmother remembered it took her father and several hired hands to dig a grave for the poor old horse. They buried him in his favorite spot--behind the barn.

In the 1900 US federal census, Louis P Hadden was 49 years old and living in Blaine, Adams, Nebraska, with the following family members:

Louis Hadden
Hattie Hadden
Lula M Hadden
Glen M Hadden
Bessie E Hadden
