Joyce Franklin, 75, passed away on November 1, 2022, in Jacksonville. Joyce was born on March 18, 1947, to John White and Emer Helen (Manley) Jeffrey in Jacksonville, Texas. For a living she worked in the cafeteria at East Side Elementary School, babysat children, and helped her husband with their septic tank business. Joyce was a member of Craft Baptist Church and Sunset Baptist Church; and was a very strong believer in her Christian bible. She loved working on arts and crafts in her spare time, but overall, she loved spending time with her family, and cooking for them. She will be very deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Jack franklin Sr.; brother, John Jeffrey; and sister, Shirley Dosser.
Left to cherish Joyce's memory are her children, Jackie Blakeney and husband Kelly of Jacksonville, Jack Franklin Jr. of Jacksonville, Teresa Lankert and husband Walter of Mississippi, Jaseen Sides of Jacksonville, and Jennifer Franklin and Fiancé Bruce Norval of Jacksonville, and brother, Jesse Jeffrey of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
