Doris Ann Sizemore/Shields Sullivan, age 78, of Daniels, West Virginia, went to her Heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at her home.
Born on December 1, 1939 in Kopperston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Sizemore and Lucille Beverly Sizemore.
Mrs. Sullivan was a homemaker and attended Beaver United Methodist church when health permitted. She had spent most of her adult life in Welch, WV, where she was a member of Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Sullivan enjoyed Bible study, singing in the church choir and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Teddy Ray Shields; by two sons, Larry Ray Shields and Tennis Randall Shields; by a daughter, Kay McVey; and by her brother, Douglas Edward Sizemore.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband, Glen Sullivan; a son; four daughters; a daughter-in-law, a brother; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 1 PM with the Rev. David Rumberg officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny, WV.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
