Sue Ann R. Adams-Reavis, age 70, of Janesville died on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Mercyhealth Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in De Pere, WI on March 29, 1947, the daughter of Arthur and Joan “Nan” (Martelle) Smith. Sue Ann graduated from Janesville High School in 1965, and St. Norbert College in 1969 with a BA degree in Sociology. She married James F. Adams and together they had two sons, Timothy, and Peter. She later married David L. Reavis on March 21, 1999. Sue Ann was member of City of Hope Church in Janesville. Over the years, Sue Ann worked as a librarian at Craig High School, secretary at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, and State Collection Service, Inc until she retired. Sue Ann was a very active woman, volunteering as a Cub Scout Leader, and a member of the Rock Aqua Jays. She enjoyed water skiing, downhill skiing, riding her motorcycle, sailing, and deer hunting. She was a proud mother and homemaker, always wanting the best for her family. Sue Ann was a very kind, compassionate, sensitive, and perfect role model, as well as a wonderful woman, who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; her two sons, Timothy (Jeri Dobson) Adams of Janesville, and Peter (April) Adams of Bozeman, MT; her mother, Joan “Nan” Martelle of Portage, WI; five grandchildren who she adored: Brittini, Mackenzi, Stephani, Sydni, and Finnigan; and great-grandson, Trey. She is further survived by her sister and brother, Joanne (David) Tesch of Pardeeville, WI, and James (Jeannie) Smith of Lombard, IL; step-children: Jessica Christensen of Tomah, WI, Daniel Reavis of Sparta, WI, and Andrew Reavis of Sparta, WI; step-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Whitcomb – Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Berlin officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., and again on Friday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
