His trouble being dropsy complicated with heart disease, it is known that his death would ere long, but it was not expected that it would come so soon as it has.
Mr. Graves was over sixty years of age, and has been a resident of this city ever since the death of his wife, seven years ago.
He leaves seven children, as follows: G. M. Graves of this city, now in Virginia on business for the Keystone Company; Charles, of Tampico; Henry and Harvey in Marshall County; Zenas in Iowa; Arthur of this city; Mrs. Emma Elliott of Missouri; and Mrs. Laura Holverson of Iowa.
Word has been sent to all of these and as soon as they reach the city, the arrangements for the funeral will be made. He will probably be buried in Elliott, Ford County, by the side of his wife, Mary Jane Phillips Graves.
