LOONEY, Patricia Ann 83, of Palm Harbor passed away March 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and her son, Timothy. Survivors include her daughter, Pati Gallego; daughter-in-law, Laurie Looney Wilhide; grandchildren, Austin, Shelby, Joey, Lexi, and Parker; and sister, Nancy Ostrowski. She was born in Washington DC, but was raised in Tampa. A University of South Florida graduate, she taught English at Largo High School for many years before retiring in 1999. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Monday, March 12 at the Blount & Curry, West/Oldsmar Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Rd, Tampa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, March 13 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Rd, Palm Harbor followed by procession to Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
