TRENTON NC - Mrs. Diane Andrews West, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. A lifelong resident of Jones County, she was the daughter of A.L. and Mary Elizabeth King Andrews, who preceded her in death. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. After her children were raised, Diane was in customer service for many years, including Hardees and the Goodwill store. Diane was an original founding member of Trenton Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a faithful member. She loved her Lord and was blessed with a wonderful family and church family. In her spare time, Diane could be found with a fishing pole in her hand or running the roads looking for a yard sale. Her most enjoyable times were cooking for and being with her family.
Funeral services for Diane will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Trenton Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Steven Mercer and Rev. Jeff Driver officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, prior to the service, and other times at the family home. Burial will follow in the Trenton Cemetery. Memorials, in Diane's name, may be made to Trenton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 261 Hwy 41 East Trenton, NC 28585.
Diane is survived by her husband of 51 years, Nelson L. West, of Trenton; her sons, Lewis West, and wife Jenell, of Pink Hill; Jeffrey West, and wife, Vydie, of Dunn; and Timmy West, of Trenton. She also leaves behind her brothers, John Andrews, of Trenton; Amos Andrews, and Pam Hirt, of Pollocksville; her sister, Pat Eubanks, of Trenton; and her dear grandchildren, Deonte Mills, Anaya West, and Dyana West.
