Sept. 13, 1961 - Sept. 5, 2017 WYOMING Marsha Kay McCollum Cole was born September 13 1961 in OKC to Patti and Jack McCollum and grew up in OKC and Edmond. Marsha was an exceptional caregiver babysitting as a young girl and caring for the elderly while attending Edmond Memorial High. As a young adult she cared for and taught preschoolers and continued caring for the elderly. Once married and having children of her own she became a loving mother and homemaker. She and husband Bill raised their family in Oklahoma and Arizona. She cared for her ailing father in his final days then moved to Wyoming, where she spent the remainder of her life. Marsha passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side September 5, 2017. Marsha has never stopped caring for others, her final wish was to "go to College" and she donated her body to the University of Colorado Health and Science Center so that medical science could better understand and treat heart disease and cancer. Marsha was predeceased by husband Bill, mother Patti and father Jack. She is survived by her son Brian and daughters Brittany and Briah, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson, her twin brother and "wombmate" Mark, sister Marilyn and brother Marty. Marsha will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Marsha's life will be held March 10, 11:00am at Twin Lakes Chapel Crescent, OK. Donations in Marsha's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
