He is preceded in death by father Samuel E. Hunter Sr., mother Flossie Mae Hunter, brother Robert Hunter.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife Cheryl J Hunter; children Daphne (Randy) Monn, Marvin (Joanne) Irwin of NC, Trena Kennedy-Wimbley, Deidre Wimbley, Robert (Juanita) Wimbley, Shawn (Monica) Bridges, Natasha Stewart; sister Vernadean (Howard) Hunter-Stark and host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles.
On Thursday, March 15, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral to follow at Cherry Street Churh of God Santified. Pastor Eric Satterfield officiating.
Interment to immediately follow at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors and a White Dove Release. Flowers maybe deliverd to the church after 9a.m.
