Donna Yates, 75 passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her residence in Staunton, Illinois.
Born September 20, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Melvin & Viola (Franke) Schwab. She married Edwin Yates on October 31, 1959 and they later divorced.
She was employed as an Inventory/Purchasing Agent at Shell Oil Company in Roxana, Illinois for over 40 years. She loved gardening, dancing, shopping, her card club, and most off all her family.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Randi Courtney (Doug) of Staunton, IL and Toni (Brad) Courtney of Staunton, IL; 8 grandchildren, Heather Ragsdale (Brian), Mikey Courtney (Terri), Sarah Pratt (Austin), James Blum (Sammi), Jessica Blum (Nick), Allison Barber (Derek), Bradley Courtney (Mindy), and Jana Courtney; and 14 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with Chaplain Jason officiating.
