Ruth M. Turner, 88, of 615 Read St., manager and hostess at Forbes Motels, Wells Beach, Maine, for 50 years during the summers, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Ralph F. Turner Sr.
Born in North Berwick, Maine, a daughter of the late Albert and Lavonia (Hammond) Chadbourne, she lived in Seekonk most of her life.
Mrs. Turner was a member of the Bauneg Beg Grange, North Berwick.
She is survived by three sons, three daughters, a sister, 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
